In this last project, the kids were inspired by the art of our friends from Korea. They observed and talked about what they thought they drew, why they added that detail, where is their name, what story they wanted to tell, etc. They realized that they have different styles to draw, that was very interesting for them, like the eyes, the clothes, and the fantastic creatures they drew.
They had whiteboards to reinterpret the drawing they liked the most, and write a frase about it. They arranged the boards in the order they chose to make a story (videos). They were very happy to see their friends from Korea did the same projects as them.
For our main project, we made a book with the weaving project from last month. In different classes we drew animals, plants and our community, and then put it together to make a book. The cover of the book was made with cardboard and weaving paper.
Sincerely,
Art teacher Mercedes García Flores
