Taideleirin aikana teimme teoksia Dear You:n Where Shall We Go -projektista. Kaikki unelmoivat, visualisoivat ja keksivät erilaisia tapoja ilmaista ideoitaan ja paikkoja minne haluaisivat mennä.
Taideteokset tehtiin aikuisten ja lasten taideleirillä Karkku Evangelical Institute. Paikkaa ympäröi kaunis suomalainen luonto ja järvi. Leiri kesti 4 päivää. 5–70-vuotiaat osallistujat tekivät taidetta yksittäin ja yhdessä. Lapset leikkivät uusien ystävien kanssa joka päivä, kun taas aikuiset saivat levätä ja puhua toiset. Nautimme käsityötaiteiden ja maalausten tekemisestä niin paljon kuin halusimme ja tietysti saunan ja uinnin järvessä!
Toisissa maailmassa Hepat juoksevat, linnut laulavat ja satuolento asuu. Myös on ihania värikkäitä abstraktisia maailman maalauksia. Monenlaista maailman tulkintaa tässä on :).

Leiriä vetänyt Reika Vesala toimii tekstiilitaiteen ja -muotoilun alalla. Hän vetää myös erilaisia lasten leirejä ja soveltaa siinä muotoiluajattelua.

During the art camp we made artworks from Dear You's Where Shall We Go project. Everybody dreamt, visualized and came up with different ways of expressing their ideas and places of where they would like to go.
The art works were made in the Adult and Children Art Camp in Karkku Evangelical Institute. The place was surrounded by beautiful Finnish nature and lake. The camp lasted for 4 days. The art works were made individually and collectively by participants 5 to 70 years old. The children got to play with new friends every day while the adults got to rest and talk with others. We enjoyed making crafts and paintings as much as we wanted and of course sauna and swimming in the lake!
In the other world, the horses run, the birds sing and there live fantasy character. Also, many wonderfully colorful abstract world paintings. There are many different interpretations of the world here :).
