At the beginning of the activity, we guided the students to understand the steps and methods of the activity through the information of American and Ukrainian children and Arlene's activities. Later, each child received a child's painting, audio, writing introduction from the Ukraine or the United States. During the weekend, the children listened to the voice of distant friends quietly, felt each other's voice , characteristics, language expression rhythm changes, capture the words they are interested in, combined with each other's paintings, introductions, quietly understand the distant friends, and used the brush pens to record their real feelings.
Then, we came to the art class, first exchanged their pre-class perception, and then used our unique Chinese ink painting materials to draw the understanding and feelings of distant children. Hand brush, the use of ink, Chinese painting pigments, combined with the harmony of water, in the raw paper free painting, feel the effect of ink, color infiltration, showing the impression of children from the other end of the earth.
