Super Eclectic in Bokvillan, Helsinki with Dear You. It was a beautiful autumn day.
The wind heard my whispers and a thrush of good luck brought Super Eclectic to my studio in Bokvillan, Arabia this week! I found on the Helsinki Design Week list of events the chance to meet with designers that focus on “visual identity for a better world.” I immediately took this opportunity as a chance to get other ideas and thoughts on how to make Dear You more inclusive and sustainable, as those are my two main current goals for this dear project of ours.
Agnieszka Pokrywka and Humberto Duque are the two parts making the whole and great Super Eclectic.
Super Eclectic is a multimedia production team that collaborates with socially-engaged initiatives to communicate their ideas
Over a pot of Oolong tea, they created a trusting atmosphere where I could easily open up about my journey in the creation of Dear You. They used tarot cards as a catalyst to help me visualise, articulate, and clarify where I am with the project and where I would like to take it. Being a tarot card reader myself, this was an extremely helpful tactic!
I now feel not only more clear on my vision and hopes for Dear You, but I feel like I have the support I need to guide me and to make it happen. Thank you Aga and Humberto for providing such valuable services for artists and educators, such as myself, who to want to co-create with world.
